About
Kimi Lee King is an inspiring leader and strategist dedicated to advancing equity, community well-being, and operational excellence. As the Founder and Operator of Roots Royal Solutions, she guides businesses, nonprofits, and individuals in building efficient, mission-driven systems. In her previous role as Chief Operating Officer, Kimi played a key role in launching and growing Vault89, a startup focused on social impact investing, where she helped shape its strategic direction, build operational infrastructure, and lead statewide initiatives in student wellness and volunteer engagement.
With a career spanning project management, DEI strategy, and health equity and advocacy, Kimi is passionate about creating cultures of health in people and business. She serves on the Board of Trustees for Seattle Children’s Healthcare System and other key advisory boards, driving impact at the intersection of innovation and inclusion.
Kimi has presented at national and international conferences, and has been featured in local media discussions on leadership and health equity. Her work has earned industry recognition, including the Northwest Emmy Award for Community Outreach.
Her proudest accomplishment to date is being the mother of her two children, ages 20 and 18.
